Eyetas contains very high concentrations of ‘essential’ omega-3 fatty acids, namely the eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Our body is not able to produce them and therefore they must be supplied through diet. When the body demand is high, oral supplementation is recommended.
High doses of omega-3 fatty acids can support vision and counteract photoreceptor damage in eye diseases.
