Those who suffer from skin disorders such as acne, eczema, premature aging or skin tone problems are well aware of the unpredictability of skin. Some suffer from prolonged periods of exacerbation of skin symptoms, others from sudden outbreaks, and so on. We were inspired to create this new supplement by Dr. Dale Pinnoch and his book The Clear Skin Cookbook. It is a specially formulated mixture of herbs, minerals and lipodialytes of antioxidant carotenoids on a probiotic base, which enhance digestion. Clear Skin Complex offers hope to those looking for clear, fresh and blemish-free skin.
Anti- inflammatory
Antioxidants - In research conducted, it was found that people who suffer from acne have significantly lower levels of antioxidants in their body, compared to those who have healthy skin. According to similar studies, people with acne have higher levels of inflammatory chemicals in the blood. In conclusion, the above studies send a clear message. Those who suffer from acne experience a significant, continuous and systemic inflammatory and oxidative stress, while the body's antioxidant defenses are unable to cope with the load.
Selenium – It is one of the most important ingredients for skin health. Selenium is the precursor of an antioxidant enzyme, glutathione peroxide (GP), which is an effective anti-inflammatory, ideal for reducing the redness (redness) of the affected skin.
Lipo-soluble antioxidants- Fat-soluble antioxidants, such as carotenoids, play an important role in the treatment of inflammation, which accompanies any skin lesion. This is because there is a certain percentage of the inflammatory response, which is activated by the release of free radicals of red blood cells. Therefore, the action of additional antioxidants will contribute to the treatment and reversal of the phenomenon. Lipidylated antioxidants are the only ones that can distribute their action through dietary consumption. These are components, such as carotenoids (beta-carotene, lutein (yellow), lycopene, astaxanthin, zeaxanthin, etc.), which will naturally begin their course in the upper layers of the skin, where they will be able to distribute their activity.
Treating acne
Zinc – It is extremely important in regulating the activity of the sebaceous gland. Irregular sebum secretion is a major and characteristic factor in many skin problems. Acne is caused by excess sebum secretion, which blocks skin pores and favors the growth of bacteria, causing infection and inflammation. On the contrary, dry skin problems are due to insufficient sebum secretion.
Zinc helps regulate sebaceous gland function. Therefore. In the event that the sebaceous gland secretes excess sebum, adequate zinc intake will contribute to the reduction of sebum production. In the opposite case, when the sebaceous gland secretes less sebum than the skin needs, zinc will increase sebum levels. Regarding acne, zinc supplementation had significant clinical effects. During clinical trials it was shown that 58% of people treated with zinc saw a drastic improvement in the appearance and health of their skin.
Probiotics – It's been over 70 years since dermatologists John H. Stokes and M. Pillsbury talked about a gastrointestinal mechanism linking depression, anxiety and skin problems like acne. Stokes and Pillsbury hypothesized that a person's emotional state affects the normal intestinal microflora, increases its permeability and contributes to inflammation. Among the therapeutic proposals of Stokes and Pillsbury were Lactobacillus Acidophilus. Today many points of the above theory have been proven and confirmed. The ability of gut microbiota to influence inflammation, oxidative stress, glycemic control, adipose tissue and even mood may be directly related to acne.
Antiaging/Antioxidant activity
Fat-soluble antioxidants– The fact that fat-soluble antioxidants benefit the skin is not a revelation. However, many rely on nutrients such as vitamin C, which is a water-soluble antioxidant extremely valuable for many body tissues, but not for the skin. For good skin health, we need fat-soluble antioxidants and especially carotenoids. These types of antioxidants penetrate fatty tissue, such as the subcutaneous tissue, where collagen and elastin are rooted. As fat-soluble antioxidants move into the subcutaneous tissue, they begin to accumulate, offering local protection against the damaging action of free radicals. Regular consumption of fat-soluble antioxidants effectively combats the aging of collagen fibers,
Selenium – As we have seen, selenium is the precursor to an antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutase. This powerful antioxidant is extremely beneficial in protecting skin cells and maintaining the elasticity and structure of collagen. It limits the destructive effect of prolonged solar radiation and prevents skin discoloration due to ultraviolet radiation.
Circulatory Stimulation
Gotu Kola – It has been used as a circulatory system booster, which also helps to improve microcirculation in the skin, improving and smoothing skin tone.
Digestive System
Probiotics – Poor digestion can be related to poor skin quality and health. Inadequate absorption of nutrients causes the body to become malnourished.
